Bookversations with Taylor W. Law

I just wanted to ask who was your inspiration in writing this book, especially in Jill’s character? Is it your own story?
Taylor: Hmm…that’s a tough question. Is it my own story? I would have to say yes and no. I think this is first and foremost Jill’s story and she is very much real. But for the sake of privacy, I have to leave my answer at that!

What is the hardest thing you’ve experienced/encountered while writing your novel ‘Return To Me?’

Taylor: I think it was having to recall the memories that eventually became the scenes that made up this book.

What's the story all about

Finding herself means losing everything she knows…

An empty-nested southern woman has her life turned on its head after an encounter with a young student from halfway around the world.

~A novella inspired by true events ~

Jill Edwards is just now learning the true definition of an empty nest. With her only child deployed in Iraq and her husband always gone on business, she finds herself often alone and awfully bored. Worse, it’s getting harder and harder for Jill to relate to the other housewives of Faithville, the little Christian college town she calls home.

Book Review: Another Day (Every Day #2) by David Levithan

Title: Another Day (Every Day #2)
Author: David Levithan
My rating: 3 hearts (♥♥♥♡♡)

Here’s the bittersweet cover of Another Day 🙂

What's the story all about

Every day is the same for Rhiannon. She has accepted her life, convinced herself that she deserves her distant, temperamental boyfriend, Justin, even established guidelines by which to live: Don’t be too needy. Avoid upsetting him. Never get your hopes up.

Until the morning everything changes. Justin seems to see her, to want to be with her for the first time, and they share a perfect day—a perfect day Justin doesn’t remember the next morning. Confused, depressed, and desperate for another day as great as that one, Rhiannon starts questioning everything. Then, one day, a stranger tells her that the Justin she spent that day with, the one who made her feel like a real person…wasn’t Justin at all.

In this enthralling companion to his New York Times bestseller Every Day, David Levithan tells Rhiannon’s side of the story as she seeks to discover the truth about love and how it can change you.

I see life between-the-pages

2015-10-06 11.41.13 1

This artwork depicts my love and passion for reading… and collecting books per se.

This is how I feel when my nose is buried between the pages of my book.

This is how I escape my wretched reality.

I started reading since 8 y/o. I was introduced to another dimension, and different worlds… far from my obscured life. Whenever I need a chapter break from everything, books are my retreat.

Now, my life’s still full of surprises, wizardry and villains. I am in a place where different plot twists and happy endings exist. Letters, phrases, and words consume me.

This is my life with books – a blissful, vivid one. ♥

How To Get ARCs, Followers, Stats ect…| Blogging 101

What an insightful morning! To all the book bloggers out there (who are ‘kind of’ new to this world and medium), I recommend you to read it. You’ll learn as much as I do. ♥

First of all, I just want to start this post saying that I’m not an expert in this, I’m not one of those established bloggers with a large following, I don’t know all the facts, I don’t get all  the arcs; but I feel like this is a topic where the more you know the better, so I’m just trying to share what I know and my perspective on certain things to hopefully help someone out there.

Okay, so now that we’ve gotten that out of the way… I just wanted to write a post about this.

I’ve been blogging for almost a year now, and I’ve learned a few things on the road so far. The most popular thing that book bloggers want to know about are ARCs, The What, The Who, The Where and The When. Well I’m going to try to answer this to the best of…
